Firefox 0.93 BONE work for anybody?

I've been using Firefox 0.8.0+ [I think it was titled) since about
September on my BONE box, but it annoyingly seems to randomly crash
when I click some links, so I thought I'd update to the recent 0.9.3.

However I've spent a fruitless afternoon trying to get it to work,
working through all the fixes suggested on the BeBits page, but no luck.

Typically if I clear all the old stuff out, I get a 'Firefox' item in
the deskbar, but nothing more. If I look in settings, it seems to have
created entries. If I then load the default profile provided on BeBits,
it doesn't even go that far -- it flashes up momentarily in the deskbar,
and that's it.

I'm back to 0.8.0 now -- better than nothing -- but I'd like to lose
those crashes!

You just can't win it seems. I am using firefox 1.0.0 for netserver - they
fixed the problem with downloads crashing the system, but now the bookmark
manager crashes the system. I guess we have to wait till 1.1 comes out.
